We are staying in the theater district, so all shows are virtually next door. One Broadway show is included, with two more as options. July 20-Aug 4, 2009 Route 66 to the Pacific Ocean and National Parks
This trip is "way too much fun"! We will travel (off and on) old Route 66 to its end in Santa Monica, CA. America's most famous road takes us back to our nostalgic past. Aug 21-28, 2009 Oregon Trail to Wyoming and South Dakota
Here is a great story! Before the trans-continental railroad was completed, families would pack all of their worldly possessions in an ox-powered wooden wagon and travel across America. Our trip traces their steps into Wyoming. Along the way, you will stand in deep ruts made by the 1850 wagon trains ... it is fascinating! After that we head to the scenic Black Hills of South Dakota for our tour of Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, and the 1880 Train. You should do this Land Cruise!
